Productive Cough, Bronchitis, and Pneumonia Mucous in the lungs can arise from improper clearing of the lymphatic system and the liver. Conventionally, drugs are used to attack the bacteria in the lungs. The bacteria exist for a reason, however: to eat dead cells. If the dead cells are cleared away, the bacteria have nothing to eat. Natural remedies consisting of a few basic nutrients effectively and safely clear out mucous and dead cells from the lungs, but most importantly, heal dying tissue. Once the mucous is cleared away via the lymphatic system and the liver, the bacteria have nothing left to eat, and disappear. Healed tissue prevents it from coming back.
A five-year-old boy came into my office one day. To my horror, I found out that he had been suffering from mucous in his lungs since he was born which would turn into pneumonia. After thirty courses of antibiotics to clear out the mucous, he wasn’t any better. The treatments I provided improved his breathing but most importantly prevented pneumonia from occurring to this day, which have been a year. In another case, a gentleman who was much older was placed in the hospital under observation for respiratory distress for five months. At the end of about four weeks of my treatments, his lungs were clear which impressed the medical doctors because they couldn’t clear them in five months.
Osteoporosis You’ve probably been told that you need calcium supplements, because if you don’t get enough calcium, you could begin to show signs of osteoporosis. How does this explain mummies of eighty-year-old women who died thousands of years ago, with bones still as strong as twenty-year-olds? This was before the advent of calcium supplements, so why do you need them now?
With osteoporosis, a lack of calcium is not the problem. It is the modern diet of excessive sugars and refined carbohydrates that causes our bones to weaken. On another note, many people believe that eating meat causes osteoporosis, but this assumption is based on shortsighted research. Adequate amounts of fat and protein everyday, whether from plant or animal sources, and controlled amounts of carbohydrates ensure strong bones. Think milk prevents osteoporosis? The marketing says it does, but research says it doesn’t. It makes much more sense to say, “Got protein?” or "Got NO sugar?"
Being Overweight Weight gain or inability to lose weight is a symptom just like all the other symptoms that we can get.
Americans are becoming heavier, because they are eating more and more carbohydrates and sugars than ever before. The “fat free” craze hasn’t helped because extra sugar is added to these products.
I have a lot of experience helping clients with weight issues. Three clients in particular stand out to me as remarkable cases. The first was a woman who, after starting with the diet changes, has lost one hundred pounds to date. Another client of mine found that he could keep himself from feeling hungry and still lose weight: ninety pounds, so far. Yet another client who had been trying to lose weight for many years with grapefruit, water, fasting, and other trends and fads finally began to do so on a sensible plan. If you were to see him today, you never know that he once was eighty pounds overweight. The best part about these clients is that they have massive amounts of energy and they have great satisfaction with their food! These solutions are sustainable for a lifetime. Some problems that contribute to overweight include medications and low-functioning thyroid.
Fatigue What would it be like if you could have enough energy at the end of the day to do what you really wanted to do? The most common cause of fatigue is a low-functioning or "hypo" thyroid. It is the most overlooked and undertreated condition in this country. If it is found, the medications do very little compared to what can be done nutritionally.
Fatigue symptoms include waking up in the morning tired, a "heavy" body, breathlessness, irritability, depression, lack of motivation. Hypothyroid also causes chronic neck pain, unhealing shoulders, digestive problems, sinus problems, and light sleep.
Another cause is a weakness of the adrenal glands, two hormone regulator organs that rest above each kidney. An overworking or tired adrenal gland will stop producing adrenaline, which is needed in small doses through the day to stay awake. It is smart to fix the adrenal glands rather than take hormones like adrenaline, cortisol, growth hormone or DHEA. If you suffer from fatigue, however, you can find relief: naturally, simply, and effectively.
Female Cycle Difficulties “For almost ten years when my period started I was so bad I could not leave the house for sometimes two days. Heavy bleeding, severe cramps, and even fainting spells were commonplace.”
Does this sound familiar to you? If you are like this patient, you have probably talked with your gynecologist about it. The conventional response to your complaints would most likely involve birth control pills to force your cycle under control and antidepressants to regulate your mood.
Did you know that in a sample of 2,500 women, 90% had PMS relief after only five months on an herb? The patient from above had this to say: “After my holistic doctor put me on a program of nutritional supplements, my next cycle passed with no symptoms.” You too can be freed from the typical chemical answer, and like this patient, experience relief and regularity naturally and safely without harmful drugs or side effects.
Pre-Natal CareIt’s rare to find a truly healthy baby at birth in our modern times. The typical baby cannot lift its head at birth and it usually takes six months for the soft spot on its head to become hard. Contrary to what some people may say, this is not normal! Two hallmarks for exceptional post-natal health the ability of the baby to lift its head at birth and closure of the fontanel or “soft spot” on top of the head within six weeks after birth. This should be commonplace for any baby, and this can be achieved by any mother-to-be, especially if she knows what is essential to good growth and development.
Fortunately, the answers do not have to come from a prescription or overloading on mega-dose pre-natal vitamins. The most important thing you can do to help your baby develop into a healthy child is good nutrition! Supplement with Linum B6 and Catalyn from Standard Process for even better health. Since you are really building a body, ask yourself, “What do bodybuilders eat?” The answer is…protein! In fact, one of my clients followed her individualized program while she was pregnant and her newborn baby lifted its head at immediately! It also rolled over at four weeks. Sound amazing? Through nutrition and some basic supplements, you can also help your baby develop into a strong and healthy child.
Sugar Sugar consmption is the main cause of most health problems in America today.
Did you know that in its raw form, sugar cane isn’t bad for you? Through processing, however, it can make a devastating impact on your body.
Since fat intake has decreased and waistlines continue to increase, the blame can be placed on white bread, white pasta, white rice and sugar intake (which has gone up two-thousand percent over the course of 182 years). People eat sugar literally by the spoonful in snack cakes, candy and pop. There are supplements that you can do to eliminate your sugar cravings. Many of my patients have sworn off sugar and continue to lose weight and feel better with their individualized programs.
