Introduction
These Free Reports are modified versions of the ones I have in my office. Most common difficulties are discussed in them, from acid reflux to sugar cravings. There are specific supplements and dietary recommendations that I employ with each person, ensuring individualized care for you. If you have any questions or would like to see me about your particular concern, please call my office to set up an appointment: (734) 302-7575.
Acid Reflux, GERD, Esophagitis, and Ulcers
“I can’t eat like I used to,” you say to yourself. That chili that you used to be able to scarf down with no problem is now coming back to haunt you the next day. You get to the point where many foods upset your stomach, and eating has lost its luster to you, now that you have heartburn.
The causes of your heartburn may be gall bladder congestion, lack of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, deficiency in enzymes, or an irritated small intestine. When your body is low in hydrochloric acid, food rots in the stomach. This rotting food produces pyruvic and lactic acid that forms the pain in ulcers.
In all of my years in practice, I’ve seen many of my heartburn clients enjoy complete relief and freedom from this problem. Usually, it takes about four to six weeks, but I’ve had clients overjoyed after their heartburn went away in about a day. In fact, one client found relief after years of taking “little purple pills” and antacids, just with one supplement! Now, she doesn’t need the supplement and sticks to a good diet to maintain her health.
Acne
When people suffer from acne, it can be devastating for them. Well-meaning people tell acne suffers that they will simply “grow out of it,” but that’s not very consoling at any age!
Acne can be brought on by a hormonal imbalance, a toxicity of chemicals or metals in the body or a food allergy. If the liver has any difficulty cleansing the body of toxins by itself, it recruits other “organs of excretion” to help, including the skin. In fact, there is an old naturopathic saying, “Bad skin means a bad liver.” Acne is a sign of an internal problem, not an external one. Creams and lotions may help to cover up the symptoms on the skin, but unless the body is helped internally, acne may never subside.
One of my clients, a female in her late twenties, resolved her acne in three months by taking two supplements per day, at a total cost of $41! She was ecstatic about the results, and she is more confident in her appearance. But, it’s no secret that 78% of adults in a study on acne had complete relief in three months with the same herb. Understanding that you don’t have to spend a lot of money on procedures or make-up is a relief to many of my clients, not to mention being relieved of their acne!
Cancer
Cancer can be a terrifying and difficult subject for anyone it touches.
Did you know that everyone has cancer cells? This is the body’s way of getting rid of mutated DNA. If the immune system is compromised, however, the mutated cells can grow at will and cause problems.
When cancer cells are grown in a petri dish in a lab, they are fed sugar to keep them alive. Poisonous chemicals are applied to them as research to see which ones kill them, but if the sugar is taken away, the cells simply die anyway. Cancer cells love to eat sugar and research has shown that sugar causes cancer.
In cases of cancer, I don’t treat the cancer itself: I treat the body. I ask for the support of the entire family and all of the caregivers. My recommendations are supplemental to what the oncologist recommends.
All cancer cells have three things in common. The first is a toxicity, usually a heavy metal like mercury. This leads to the second, which is a virus or a bacterium. The virus will go away if the toxicity is removed. The third commonality is a deficiency of good, essential fatty acids. The lesson to learn is that anyone with cancer or pursuing cancer prevention should pursue regimens of cleansing and supplementing essential fatty acids like fish oil or flax oil.
It is important to understand and look into every option when you or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer. This will empower you with the information you need to make decisions on health care that are right for you.
Cholesterol
The conventional view on cholesterol is to cut fat almost completely out of the diet. This can have bad results, not to mention being bland and unsatisfying. Actually, it is large amounts of carbohydrates and sugar, not fat that can shoot someone’s cholesterol sky-high. For example, a client of mine dropped forty-four cholesterol points in six weeks without drugs. He now feels thirty years younger and has more stamina and mental clarity, and he actually enjoys food again! Another major cause of high cholesterol is constipation. Two bowel movements per day or less is constipation. Three is normal.
Type II Diabetes and Hypoglycemia
Dr. Atkins, the renowned nutrition expert, says that 98% of people on blood sugar-reducing drugs and 50% of people on insulin for diabetes can free themselves from taking the drugs by merely modifying their diet. One of my clients actually had been a sufferer of hypoglycemia for many years. She would get tired, irritable, and depressed, especially after eating fruit. She would be fine, and then, CRASH! Then, she learned that eating adequate fat and protein and never allowing her to get hungry were the keys to feeling better. Now, adhering to this diet plan has given her more energy and the desire to use it. There are great supplements that can begin to repair the pancreas and digestive system to help you feel better.
There is a very dietary law that will reverse type II diabetes if it is followed. We have had people free themselves from diabetes, lose weight and prevent financial disaster by following this plan. It is so simple, that if I told it to you now, you wouldn't believe it. however, if you come in as a patient, be prepared to follow the directions.
Digestive Disorders
Many people are unwilling to discuss their difficulties with digestion. They feel embarrassed and uncomfortable, not to mention the pain and suffering they experience on a daily basis. Digestive disorders are reversible, though, and many of my clients already have recovered from these uncomfortable problems.
Digestive disorders all have one thing in common, regardless of what they’re called; they all arise from irritation of the intestinal lining. The irritation can be caused by medications including antibiotics, an allergy to wheat or parasitic infestation (including viruses, worms, bacteria and fungi). We help your body improve its state so that it can take care of the problems.
One of my clients had an agonizing twenty-year bout with ulcerative colitis. Numerous tests and drugs (taken up to nine times a day) took up most of her time. Now she has found complete relief with supplements and diet in only five weeks.
A woman who came to me was suffering with Crohn's disease and colitis for 22 years. She had been in the hospital over 100 times. I put her on a particular supplement from Standard Process, which has been around since 1952. It handles the cause of Crohn's and colitis. She is extremely happy at the results and will testify to anybody with these conditions that they need to be on it because IT WORKS!
Heart Disease
In 1821, the average American ate ten pounds of sugar per year. Today, we eat two hundred and ten pounds of sugar per year! The amount of natural fats as found in animal products and butter consumed in the last sixty years has decreased, yet heart disease continues to rise. Also, our consumption of refined, white flour products has increased dramatically. Artificial fats or hydrogenated fats as found in processed food and light-yellow vegetable oils (such as corn oil) have also been added to our daily food habits. These factors contribute to the increased incidence of heart disease.
This is shocking for most people, because many “experts” will tell us that fat is deadly. But, it is not the culprit when it comes to heart disease. In fact, many essential fats are vitally important in contributing to a healthy and strong circulatory system.
Herbal supplements have been shown to be effective in the fight against heart disease. In eight clinical trials in a study on heart disease, the employment of one herb improved heart function 77% and led to the average blood pressure falling 57 points. This is great news for people suffering from heart disease.
Pain
Have you, a friend, or a loved one spent your precious lunch hours or gatherings discussing minor aches and pains that just seemed to keep getting worse? Your feet hurt from being on them all day, your back hurts from being in a chair that resembles a medieval torture device more than a piece of furniture, and you still have neck pain from that little fender-bender that happened over a year ago. It’s just a function of getting older, you’ll say to yourself. But you don’t have to suffer any more!
Pain is our body’s way of letting us know that we may be hurt. When you fall down and skin your knee, your brain receives a signal from the nerves in the knee that registers as “pain” or “hurt.” Sometimes, though, feelings of pain are not that instantaneous. They can come and go quickly, like when you skin your knee, or they can persist as an indicator of a long-standing physical problem, as in the case with joint pain (i.e., arthritis) or even some digestive disorders. Sometimes, people feel pain for no apparent reason, all over their bodies. It can wax and wane, be better or worse, but it never quite seems to go away.
I have helped many people with chronic and acute aches and pains, minor and major. One client in particular had been suffering from chronic joint pain for years. I recommended a few dietary changes and within a week, her pain was completely gone. Another client of mine had been experiencing severe headaches off and on since puberty, accompanied by lower back pain. After only a month of treatment, her pain was lessened and her headaches have disappeared. There are specific treatments for the different types of pain that exist: muscle, nerve, ligament, internal organ, etc. It's important to get muscle-tested to find out what is going on with your body.
